    FULL OVERVIEW

Healthy buildings can contribute to business resilience and workforce wellbeing. Leaders across all industries are now exploring the incremental and large gains that can be achieved through investing in the digital transformation of buildings. The benefits are far reaching, from cost savings, to business continuity and increased productivity.

As the world adjusts to the consequences of the pandemic, businesses will need to adapt to this new reality and prepare to deliver business continuity. At the heart of this will be the ability to run resilient buildings that can withstand future shocks, supporting business operations that are sustainable and optimised through remote operating systems.

Businesses and building owners will also need to “future proof” their buildings and leverage technology to run efficient and smart buildings through automation, data and resilient systems to maximise capex and opex. Solutions also extend to improving productivity and employee wellbeing, from monitoring air quality to social distancing.

The Financial Times is pleased to partner with Honeywell for the second in our "Building of the Future” digital series which will deliver the solutions needed to run healthier, resilient and more efficient buildings.
